PROPERTY TAX
I am committed to Property Tax Reform that will bring greater accountability and oversight to the budgeting process and lower the levy on taxpayers. My plan is a comprehensive, common-sense approach that will bring much-needed relief to property owners. We will review and analyze current spending and budgeting procedures to ensure taxpayers are not unfairly burdened with excessive taxes. Transparency is the KEY!
SAFE NEIGHBORHOODS
I will prioritize initiatives to ensure safe neighborhoods for all. This includes keeping fentanyl off our streets, improving public lighting to keep our roads safe, and regular meetings with local residents and leaders to ensure their needs are heard. I will also invest in community programs to provide resources and support to needy families. Together, we will create a safe and secure environment for our neighborhoods.
GOOD GOVERNMENT
I believe in a government that is transparent, open, and accountable to its citizens. I will strive to create meaningful regionalism by fostering relationships between communities and advocating for the needs of all citizens. I will work towards consolidation by evaluating the current government structure and finding ways to do more with less and reduce costs. Our ultimate goal is to create a government that is efficient, effective, and responsive to the needs of its citizens.
RECREATION AND WATER
Our County must be invested in the lands, waters, and people of our communities. I believe that access to recreational activities and natural areas is essential to the health and well-being of everyone. I am committed to investing in recreational activities and access to our waterways so that all can benefit from the physical and mental health benefits of recreating in nature. We are also dedicated to protecting our land and water so that future generations can continue to enjoy them.
